Donald L. Ferrand Jr.
Donald L. Ferrand Jr., 26, of Sandborn died Thursday, April 16, 1992, in a mining
accident. He was employed by Venturi Mine in Davies County. He was born April 5,
1966, in Paris, Ill., to Donald L. Ferrand Sr. and Shirley Gibbs Ferrand. Survivors include
his wife, Shannon Myngheer Ferrand; his mother of Terre Haute, his father of Terre
Haute; two sisters Sherry Manley and husband Gil of Bloomfield and Tammy Christian of
Terre Haute; paternal grandmother, Mary Lowe of Terre Haute; paternal grandfather,
Orville Ferrand of Terre Haute; two nieces; and two nephews. He attended West Vigo
High School. Services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Roselawn Funeral Home at Terre Haute,
with the Rev. Phil Dorrel officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 5 to
9 p.m. today in Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home at Linton and 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in
Roselawn Funeral Home at Terre Haute.

Vicki Ann Ferrand
Vicki Ann Ferrand, age 65 of Linton, went to be with the Lord on December 20th at
Shakamak Good Samaritan. Vicki was born in Terre Haute on June 13, 1946 to Herman
Turley and Lurene Zimmerman Turley.
Vicki was a graduate of Shakamak High School and a member of the Jasonville United
Methodist Church. She was married to Don Ferrand Sr. on December 18th, 1987. Vicki
enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, loved her animals and liked doing crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Don Ferrand Sr.; daughters, Monica
Stevens (Bruce) of Jasonville and Rhonda Lenning of Jasonville; step-daughters, Sherry
Manley (Gil) of Bloomfield and Tammy Kimble (Bruce) of Kansas; grandchildren, Chelsea
and Cory Stevens, and Brandon and Kyle Duncan; step-grandchildren, Gibby Manley
(Breanna), Amy Fish (Jason), Chuck Christian, and Kelly Klick (Josh); step-great-
grandchildren, Emily, Abbie, and Mylah Manley and Matthew Fish; and friends, Jeanette
Street and Donna Rose Weinbrecht.
Vicki is also leaving behind those wonderful people who took such great care of her at
Vista Care Hospice and Shakamak Good Samaritan Center.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents; step-son, Don Ferrand Jr.; and step-great-
grandson, Adam Ryan Fish.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22nd from 10:00 AM until the service at 1:
30 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN 47805 with the
Rev. David Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memories and
