Conquergood, Dorothea
Dorothea Conquergood, 81, of Terre Haute, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Galsenkirchen, Germany. Her family moved to Whitewoods,
Saskatchewan, when she was two years old, where she grew up. Many years later she and
her husband moved to Terre Haute in 1952, where she lived until her death. She was the
daughter of Alexander Busch and Emma Meinke Busch. She married Daniel Lawrence
Conquergood, and he preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1997. She was a homemaker. She
loved shopping and eating out with her friends and family, riding the city bus, was an avid
reader, and loved to knit and crochet. Survivors include four children, Cheryl Wall and
husband Joseph of Albuquerque, N.M., Carey Konazeski of Terre Haute, Larrey Conquergood
of Indianapolis, and Kevin Conquergood of Terre Haute; four granddaughters, Tanya
Koehene and husband Tom of Ohio, Tamara Hamilton and husband Scott of Indianapolis,
Kristin Konazeski and Samantha Conquergood, both of Terre Haute; a grandson, Christopher
Fanyathipt of Terre Haute; seven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Erica, Justin, Emily, Spencer,
Daniel and Raquel; a sister, Lillian Hackett of Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Professor Loren Dwight Conquergood,
on Nov. 13, 2004; and a brother, William Bush.Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn
Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., with the Revs. Janet Nickle and Heather Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 11 a.m. until services Wednesday.
Sodora, John Jack
John “Jack” Sodora, 82, of Terre Haute died at 10:25 a.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Royal
Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 10, 1925, in Detroit, to Sam
Sodora and Hazel Hyller Sodora. He was plant manager for a plastic manufacturer. Survivors
include his wife, Betty Killion Sodora; a son, Mike Sodora and wife Chris of Wheaton, Ill.; a
daughter, Donna Kukla and husband Michael of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Dee Smith of Terre
Haute; five grandchildren, Amy Bruce and husband Jeff, Lisa Kukla, Michael, Tony and
Chrissy Sodora; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Abby and Jason. He was preceded
in death by his parents; and a daughter, Darlene Bislich.He was a U.S. Navy veteran.Private
family services are scheduled, with the Rev. Dana Coverstone officiating. Burial is in
Roselawn Memorial Park. Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., assisted with

Clem, Bettina "Tina"
Bettina “Tina” Clem, 58, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, in Union
Hospital. She was born May 4, 1949, in Terre Haute to Thomas A. Groscop and Marian Perry
Groscop. Tina was a beloved teacher at Meadows Elementary School for 35 years.She will
be missed dearly by her husband, Warren Clem; son, J.D. Meneely and his wife Brooke of
Indianapolis; step-daughter, Suzanne Clem-Wheeler and her husband David of Atlanta;
stepson, Brad Clem and his wife Christa of Atlanta; grandchildren, Keaton Wheeler, Paige
Wheeler, and Taylor Allen; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Tina was a member of Central Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and
served on the Board of Deacons and various committees. She was a member of Chi Omega
Sorority at Indiana State University, the National Reading Recovery Association and a former
Board Member of the Terre Haute Humane Society. Tina was a graduate of ISU with her
bachelors and masters degrees in Education. She worked to help others throughout her life
and continued to do so in her death as an organ donor.Funeral services will be conducted at
10 a.m. Saturday in Central Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Seventh St., with the Rev. Lant
Davis officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday

Fry, Bill J.
Bill J. Fry, 75, of Terre Haute died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 15, 2008, in Regional Hospital.
He was born in Vigo County on Dec. 26, 1932, the son of Henry (Pearly) and Myrtle
(Garlock) Fry. He retired in 1994 after having drove a truck for Wabash Fiber Box for 43
years. Surviving are his wife, Modena (Seemann) Fry, whom he married on June 1, 1952; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Caudill and husband Bill of Louisville, Ky., and Ronda
Hennis and husband Randy of Farmersburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Fry and
wife Kate of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; a brother, Earl Fry and wife Edna of Terre Haute; two sisters,
Margaret Marts of Terre Haute, Betty Robinson and husband George of Clayton, Ind.; three
grandchildren, Kristina Ladika, Paige Hennis both of Farmersburg and Alexander Beeson of
Ft. Bragg. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews; Lea Ann Seemann or Orlando,
Fla., Jill Motluck and husband Mark of Indianapolis, Jason Seemann and wife Heather of
Wake Forest, N.C., Patricia Woods and husband Garry, Rosemary Hubbard and husband
Ward, Earl Fry Jr. and wife Eve, Diane Allen and husband Bruce, Richard Fry and wife Robin
all of Terre Haute, Georgenna Giek and husband Phil of Greencastle, Phyllis Hayes and
husband George, Rebecca Sallee and husband Brian, Glenn Robinson and wife Debbie of
Clayton, and Lisa Schlundt and husband Gary of Oxford, Ind. Other survivors include, 19
great-nieces and nephews and nine great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by a brother, James Fry. He was a member and past master of Pimento F and AM No.
292, member and Past Worthy Patron of Pimento OES No. 516, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre
Haute, and was a past president of the Terre Haute South Athletic Booster Club. He attended
the Oregon Baptist Church. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at DeBaun Springhill
Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, with the Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Visitation will be 4 to
8 p.m. today with a Masonic Lodge memorial at 7 p.m. Entombment will be in Chapel of
Memories Mausoleum in Roselawn Memorial Park. For those who choose, memorial

Haltom, Gale Dewayne
Gale DeWayne Haltom, 73, of Indianapolis, and formerly of Terre Haute passed away early
Wednesday morning Jan. 16, 2008, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was born
on June 1, 1934, in Terre Haute to Frank and Olive (Anderson) Haltom. He was a United
States Navy Army veteran who served during the Korean War.Survivors include his wife,
Phyllis (Scott) Haltom whom he married on Aug. 19, 1955; four children, Gale DeWayne
Haltom Jr. of Indianapolis, Michael Allen Haltom of California, Kimberly Dianne Adams and her
husband Garry of Lee Summit, Mo., and Melissa Kay Garmon and her husband Brandon of
Indianapolis. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jon, David, Dianne, Kristine, Nicolle,
Matthew, and Joshua, and four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.He
was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Barthol and Gene Haltom.Services
are 1 p.m. Saturday in Thomas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Spear officiating. Visitation
will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial

Booker, Clyde M.
Clyde M. Booker, 64 of Terre Haute died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Dunn Memorial Hospital
in Bedford. He was born April 29, 1943, in Terre Haute to William and Thelma Conner
Booker. He worked for Gibson's trash service, driving trucks in earlier years. He loved
playing bingo, collecting cans, and listening to country and western music.Survivors include
a daughter, Angie Kirkman; two sons, Willie Booker, and Harley Booker and his wife Angie;
grandchildren, Shannon Logsdon, Shawn Booker, Abigail Booker, Karl Booker, Paul Allen
Booker, Kelly Booker, Brandon Booker, and Joshua Kirkman; great-grandchildren, Timothy
Lee Logsdon, Lonnie VanHorn Jr., Nevaeh Booker, and Sebastian Booker; siblings, Jack
Booker, Ruby Schoemaker, and Frank Booker; and several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents; a son, Paul Booker; brothers, Herchel, Wilford, William,
Jerry, and Kenneth Booker; and sisters, Beulah Rolling and Virginia Fisher.Services are 1

Shockley, Robert L.
Robert L. Shockley, 87, of Terre Haute died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in his residence. He was
born Aug. 6, 1920, in Terre Haute to Harvey L. Shockley and Ethel May Smith Shockley.
Robert retired from Wabash Fibre Box after 43 years of service. He was preceded in death
by his wife of 60 years, Frances Evinger Shockley, who died Nov. 21, 2004.Survivors include
his brother, Edward Shockley of Terre Haute; sisters, Gail Welch of Carmel, and JoAnn
Sedletzeck of West Terre Haute; nieces and nephews, Venita Baumgartner, Paula Leach,
Linda Green, Roberta Doyle, William Sedletzeck, Susan Yeazel, Katrina Bendzsa, Hans
Collins, Mike Collins, Steve Collins, Robert Shockley and David Shockley. Robert was a
member of Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a member and past master of Terre
Haute Lodge 19 Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, and
Knights Templar of the York Rite. He received the Grand Lodge Award of Gold in 1996. He
was a member of the Marine Corps during World War II, was a life member of Joseph A. Bray
Detachment 471 of the Marine Corps League, and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post 972.Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Callahan and
Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th St., with the Rev. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial will be
in Roselawn Memorial Park, with military services by the Marine Corps League. Visitation will

Tanoos, Mary
Mary Tanoos, 81, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2998, after a courageous battle with
cancer in Union Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1926, in Terre Haute to Pete and Wanda
Hanna Tanoos. She worked as a telephone operator in her earlier years.Survivors include
her daughter, Nancy Dean and husband Tom; three grandchildren, Hannah, Natalie and
Hope Dean, all of Edmond, Okla.; brothers, Lewis Tanoos and wife Shamieh, Thomas
Tanoos and wife Mary Anne, and Richard Tanoos; several nieces and nephews; and several
great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister,
Sarah Tanoos.She was a member of the Red Hat Society “Splashers,” YMCA’s swim group,
and the Y-me breast cancer group. She loved dining with friends and taking bus excursions
with her swim group. She loved singing and enjoyed old-time movies.Services are 10 a.m.
today in Roselawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Tobey officiating. Burial is in Roselawn

Fallowfield, Mary Louise Herndon
Mary Louise Herndon Fallowfield, 87, of Terre Haute, died at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15,
2008, in Union Hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Bicknell, to Bryan Herndon and Eva
Marie Jamison Herndon. She was a homemaker.Survivors include her son, George Michael
Fallowfield and wife Barbara of North Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Jerry Mae Miller of Terre
Haute; a brother, Bill J. Herndon, and a sister, Mildred Lucille King, both of Terre Haute; two
granddaughters, Christina Wenzel and husband Marcus of Terre Haute, and Tabetha
Renee’ Rodgers and husband Adin, who is stationed in Fort Stewart, Ga., of Terre Haute;
two grandsons, Brian Fallowfield and wife Robin and Scott Michael Fallowfield and wife
Kristen, all of Texas; one aunt, Lucille Jamison of Freelandville; eight great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
George E. Fallowfield in 1996; sisters, Betty Jean Herndon Mullen Holsclaw and Jerry Ann

Paul Donald Graham Sr., 84, of West Terre Haute, died at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15,
2008, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born July 25, 1923, to Clyde Graham and
Ida Mae McConnell Graham in Peru. He was employed at Terre Haute Malleable, a farmer,
and railroad and coal truck laborer.Survivors include three sons, Timothy S. Graham and
companion Phyllis Milner of West Terre Haute, Paul Donald Graham Jr., of Jacksonville,
Fla., and David Allen Graham; one daughter, Martha Jane Beatty and husband James of
Terre Haute; one brother, Dick Graham; one sister, Frances Creetch; six grandchildren,
Ozzra D. Lewsader, Jennifer Graham, Melissa Lewsader, Jimmy Beatty Jr., Penny Beatty,

Calderhead, Judith E.
Judith E. Calderhead, 65, of Terre Haute, died early Thursday morning, Jan. 24, 2008, in
Union Hospital. She was born on Sept. 4, 1942, in Milwaukee, to Jack and June Tobin
Leberman. She worked for the Vigo County School Corp. as a teacher’s aide and also
assisted in the school cafeteria. Furthering her education at Ivy Tech Community College,
and going back to school three times, Judy worked as a CNA, a medical assistant, and as a
pharmacy technician at Hooks, Revco, and CVS. Left behind to cherish her memory is the
love of her life, her husband of 47 years, Nick Calderhead; three sons, Mark Calderhead
and wife Alda of Brussels, Belgium, Michael Calderhead and wife Krystal of Mooresville, and
Jim Calderhead and wife Shelly of Nashville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; her twin sister,
Jacquelyn; a brother, Tom; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death
by her parents; one brother; and one granddaughter, Chelsea.Judy attended Otter Creek
High School and graduated in 1960. Gardening, crafts, and being a part of the American
Rabbit Breeders Association were her hobbies. She also was a big follower of Checkered

Rose Dardeen, 96, of Village Oaks of Greenwood (Indianapolis), formerly of Terre Haute,
died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Village Oaks. She was born on Nov. 19, 1911, to
George Ghindes and Lena Hoffner Ghindes in Terre Haute. She worked as a waitress for
many years at the Terre Haute House, Deming Hotel, Bohannon’s South and Henri’s
RestaurantSurvivors include one son, Howard Dardeen and wife Carol of Greenwood; one
sister, Jean Murtaugh of Sonoma, Calif.; two grandsons, Sean Dardeen and Dax Dardeen;
three great-grandchildren, Corey Guerra, Ethan Dardeen, and Isabella Dardeen; and
nieces and nephews, Don Lacey, Linda Billingsley, Chuck Murtaugh, and Susan Murtaugh-
Camp. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Ghindes; and three sisters,
Lena Scamihorn, Mary Kelley, and Anne Coy. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-

Humphrey, Robert Delby
Robert Delby Humphrey, 76, of Litchfield, Ill., formerly of Terre Haute, died Wednesday,
Jan. 23, 2008, at 5:10 p.m. in the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ken
Nimmons. He was born on June 5, 1931, in Terre Haute, to Delby and Mildred Fugate
Humphrey. Survivors include four daughters, Julie Nimmons and husband Ken of Litchfield,
Elise Akins and husband Larry of St. Louis, Jacquie Mack and husband Mick of Clinton,
Ind., and Laurie Winston of Bardonia, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Jen Baker, Stephanie
Wonderlin, Brad and Amanda Akins, Rob Mack, and Tricia, Phillip and Elizabeth Winston;
and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Ainsley Baker. He was preceded in death by his
parents; and his wife.He graduated from Purdue University in 1954, with a degree in
mechanical engineering. While attending Purdue, he was a member of the Theta Chi
Fraternity and John Purdue Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Fort Hood,
Texas. He married Suzanne Wilson of Terre Haute, and they had four daughters. They
later divorced. He then married Mary Waugh, also of Terre Haute, and she preceded him in
death. His professional career took him through various engineering and quality assurance
positions with Raybestos-Manhattan, Pillsbury Foods, Brook Foods and Perfect Circle-
Dana, eventually bringing him to Litchfield to operate Schutt Manufacturing Company. It
was at Schutt that he developed several patents and helped to shape the look of football
faceguards as they are known today. Bob also increased Schutt’s operations, which led to
a building expansion project at Union Avenue location and later at Dean Meier Industrial
Park in Litchfield. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Terre Haute, and attended
Union Avenue Christian Church in Litchfield. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday at First
Baptist Church, 4701 E. Poplar Drive, in Terre Haute with the Rev. Bernard Jackson, senior
pastor of the church, officiating. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family for
a social time at Holiday Inn, South U.S. 41, Terre Haute. Entombment is in Roselawn
Memorial Park Monday. The family suggests memorials to Fellowship of Christian Athletes-

Funkhouser, James O.
James O. Funkhouser, 60, of Elkhart and formerly of Terre Haute, died at 12:22 p.m.,
Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, in Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Terre
Haute to Clayton Funkhouser and Ruth Wade. He was a past educator with the Elkhart
Community School System, and recently worked in marketing and sales for Haulmark
Industries.Survivors include his wife, Mary Clemens Funkhouser, whom he married Dec.
28, 1974, in South Bend; two sons, Matt Funkhouser and wife Angie of Angola, and Nick
Funkhouser of Orlando, Fla.He was a member of Christiana Creek Country Club in Elkhart.
He was an avid landscaper, loved to golf, travel and spend time with his family.Services are
10 a.m. Wednesday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone
Boulevard, in Elkhart, with the Rev. Brian Cray, of Faith United Methodist Church,

Greaver Sr., James Lee
James Lee Greaver Sr., 72 of Terre Haute died early Sunday morning, Jan. 27, 2008, in
Union Hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1935, in Waynesboro, Va., to Bruce G. Greaver and
Bessie Murtaugh Evol. In earlier years he was owner and operator of his own produce
store in Terre Haute. He loved fishing, and baseball, and was a big St. Louis Cardinals
fan.Survivors include children, Jimmy Greaver Jr. and his wife Sherrie, Debra Greaver and
her husband John Peters, and Mark Greaver, all of Terre Haute, Jerry Greaver and his
wife Jeannine of Florida, Bruce Greaver and his wife Gloria, Robin Greaver, Carla Sutton
and her husband Bill, all of Texas, and Bobby Greaver and his wife Nancy of Georgia;
several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his long time
companion and mother of his children, Linda Greaver of Texas. He was preceded in death

Kadivnik, Martha A.
CLINTON — Martha A. Kadivnik, 76, of Clinton died at 10:55 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008,
in her residence. She was born April 8, 1931, in Clinton to Claude Jennings and Margie
Griffiths Jennings. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother and grandmother, and
enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Joe.Survivors include a son, Mike Kadivnik and his friend, Annie Lafferty of
Cincinnati; one Chelsea and Josh Wood, Tyler Davis and Kyle Davis; one great-
grandchild, Jada Cates; one sister, Wilma Stark; one brother, Tom Jennings; several
nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Darlene Olinger. She also was Christian
Church and was a 50 year member of Jerusalem Chapter 254 Order of the Eastern Star.
Services are 10 preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Margaret Banker and
Claudia Foltz.She was a member of First a.m. Thursday in Frist Funeral Home, 458

Savio, Betty M.
Betty M. Savio, 85, of Terre Haute died at 12:06 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, in Union
Hospital. She was born Aug. 29, 1922, in Knightsville to Lowell Rodgers and Lilly Murphy
Rodgers. She was a bookkeeper for Anderson and Associates, retiring in 2005.Survivors
include her husband, Byron E. Savio, whom she married in 1959; a stepson, Byron “Butch
W. Savio; four stepdaughters, Dorothy Hultgren and husband Mark, Carol Mowbray and

Eastern Star, the Rebekka Lodge in Brazil, and was president of the Resident Counsel at
Harborside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday in DeBaun
Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with the Rev. Linda Peters officiating. Burial is in

White, Otis E.
Otis E. White, 80, of Terre Haute died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, in St. Vincent
Seton Hospital in Indianapolis. He retired from Alcan in 1988. He was born Aug. 11, 1927,
in Terre Haute to Otis E. White Sr. and Martha E. Easton.Survivors include his wife of 59
1/2 years, Betty R. White, whom he married July 4, 1948; two sons, Ronald J. White and
wife Carol of Georgia, and Donald E. White and wife Patty of Clinton; two daughters,
Martha R. Pruiett and Judith A. Hutts; five grandsons, Joe White, Jeremy Montgomery and
wife Sharon, Justin Montgomery and wife Natalie, Joshua Montgomery and Matthew
Pruiett; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his parents; brother, Robert J. White; sister, Jenean Frakes; two sons-in-law,
Bobby G. Pruiett Sr. and Micheal A. Hutts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne,
972, and attended Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday in
Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette Ave., with the Rev. Monte Vincent
officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park, with graveside military rites by VFW Post
972. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Ogborn, John Thomas
John Thomas Ogborn, 64, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at Terre
Haute Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Vigo County, the son of Walter
Ogborn and Ruth Sappington Ogborn. He married Dorothy Maras on Sept. 22, 1972, and
she survives him. He was a taxi cab driver and a city bus driver. He served in the Army
during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gary Maras and wife
Elizabeth, James Maras and fiancée Michelle Flowers, and Woody Nasser and wife Julie all
of Terre Haute; three daughters, Della, Theresa and Penny Ogborn; grandchildren,
Zachary, Alexandria, Brittany, Jessie, Samantha, Dylan, Anthony and Rilea; a brother,
Ronnie Bland and wife Linda of Muncie; a sister, Polly Henry of Salt Lake City; three
sisters-in-law, Debra Maras of Terre Haute, Darleen Fields and husband Lennie of
Indianapolis, and Donna Green and husband Jon of Terre Haute, and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.He was a member of the Bible Holiness
Church and the VFW Post 972. His hobbies included crossword puzzles, semis and racing.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Rev. Wendall Kirkman
officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in
Roselawn Memorial Park. The VFW Post 972 will perform military gravesite services.



















Whitlock, Norman R.
Norman R. Whitlock, 69, of Terre Haute died at home with family by his side at 1:15 a.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008. He was born Oct. 20, 1938, in Terre Haute to Warnie Whitlock
and Zora Rice Whitlock. He was a 1957 graduate of Pimento High School, and a retired
accountant with Terre Haute Malleable and co-owner of Village Hardware in 12 Points
from 1987 to 1998.Survivors include his wife, Kati Bohn Whitlock; two sons, Terry and
Chris Martin; and one daughter, Dawn Austin, all of Terre Haute; three sisters, Frances
Roettger of Evansville, Lois Reichert of Terre Haute and Norma Apple and husband
Wayne of St. Mary’s; three grandchildren, Shannon Austin, Courtney Lanning and
husband Scott, and Heather Austin; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mae and
Mary Whitlock, both of Terre Haute; and a special friend, Wes Austin. He was preceded in
death by two brothers, Paul and Carl Whitlock.Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday at
Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with Jenny Wilson officiating. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m.
Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial
