Delores M. Bandy
Delores M. Bandy, 79, of Terre Haute, passed away July 4, 2010, at Southwood Health
and Rehabilitation Center. Born Feb. 18, 1931, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of
Henry Nolte and Hazel (Bentley) Nolte. She married Max Bandy, and he preceded her in
death.
Delores worked and retired from Pfizer, Inc. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post 972 Ladies Auxiliary, and Krietenstein Post 104 American Legion Auxiliary, and
was a member of Club Twenty-one in Terre Haute. She was a very patriotic person who
enjoyed animals, water skiing, photography, and listening and dancing to the Ambush
Band.
Survivors include three nephews, Dave Alumbaugh and wife Sandy, Bill Alumbaugh Jr.,
and Don Alumbaugh, all of Terre Haute; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan
Klopfenstein, Chad Klopfenstein and wife Mandy, Mandy Travelstead and husband Danny,
Andrea Alumbaugh, Bill Alumbaugh III and wife Lydia, and Steve Alumbaugh;
great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Torrey Alumbaugh, Grace Klopfenstein,
Brady Klopfenstein, Carson Travelstead, Ashleigh Alumbaugh, Gunar Alumbaugh and
Leigha Alumbaugh; special in-laws, Jack and Dorothy Dwyer; and special friends, Norma
Schoffstall, Alice Minger, and Bob and Edna Brown. She also was preceded in death by
her parents; stepdaughter, Phyllis Bandy; a sister, Mary Jane Alumbaugh; and
brother-in-law, William E. Alumbaugh..
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St.,
with a memorial service at 6 p.m., with Pastor Ray Leach officiating. Cremation is
scheduled, with inurnment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Wilma Catherine Hamm
On Friday, July 30, 2010, at 12:08 a.m., Wilma Catherine (Stone) Hamm passed peacefully
into her next great journey. Surrounded by her family and loved ones, she drew her last
breath and her heart slowly softened. At age 87, she had lived a long and fulfilling life.
Wilma is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Eugene Warner Hamm; her
eldest daughter, Eugena K. Watson; her sister, Geneva Welch; and two grandsons,
Ronald P. Hamm Jr. and Shawn Michael Hamm. She is survived by her six children, Larry
Hamm, Becky Hamm, Joyce Warner-Stone, Ron Hamm, Stan Hamm, and Les Hamm; 11
grandchildren, Chad Ramsey, Stanley R. Hamm Jr., Eric Ramsey, Ryan Hamm, Brandon
Hamm, Crystal Hamm Cox, Jennifer N. Plummer, Heather Hamm, Travis Hamm, Lani Hamm,
and Jason Hamm; and nine great-grandchildren.
Wilma enjoyed many activities, including cooking, flower gardening, putting up the harvest
from the family garden. She also enjoyed bird watching, reading, traveling, and working
crossword puzzles, but her greatest joys and triumphs were being a loving mother and
friend to her children and family. As a mother, Wilma set strong examples for her sons and
daughters about living life to its fullest. Surviving breast cancer, overcoming hardship, and
sustaining a life-long value based moral compass are just a few examples her children and
family have been honored to witness.
A celebration of Wilma’s full and interesting life will be held at a graveside service at
Roselawn Memorial Park on Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Wilma’s
family has requested that donations be made in her honor to The Salvation Army or the

Donald E. Hosier
Donald E. Hosier, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, in
Meadows Manor North. He was a City of Terre Haute Bus Driver, retiring in 1999. Donald
was born July 16, 1935, to Chester Hosier and Violet (Hickox) Hosier.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (Beabout) Hosier; two sons, Michael Hosier and
his wife Venida of Hartford, Tenn., and Gary Hosier of Terre Haute; a grandson, Dayne
Hosier; a sister, Mary Middleton of Oblong, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Max Hosier, Oliver Hosier, and Chester
Hosier; four sisters, Lucille Shinnabarger, Esther Hosier, Margaret Bishop, and Pauline
Huddleston; and one granddaughter, Ashlyn Hosier.
Donald was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at 10 a.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85
E. Springhill Drive, with Jerimi Meyers officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial
Park. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The
family suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Camp
Wabashi, 3525 E. Harlan Dr., Terre Haute, IN 47802.

Juanita Walls
On July 29, 2010, Juanita Walls, beloved mother, went to be with the Lord while her family
was by her side. She passed away at 8:01 p.m., at Union Hospital. She was 87 years old,
and was born April 28, 1923, in Terre Haute, to John and Lydia Barrett. She is survived by
sons, Dan Walls and wife Felicia, Barry Walls and wife Starla, and Fred Walls and wife
Charlotte; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd
Walls; parents; and son, David Walls. Services will be Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at 1 p.m., at
Cross Tabernacle Church, with a visitation on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services,
at the church. Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Taylor. Burial is at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.

Franklyn K. Camp
ROCKVILLE — Franklyn K. “Frank” Camp, 81, of Rockville, died at 6:32 a.m. Saturday,
July 31, 2010, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was the retired owner of RTC
Autoparts in Rockville and Clinton Autoparts in Clinton. He had formerly been employed by
Loeser Automotive in Terre Haute. He was born July 13, 1929, in Terre Haute, to the late
Franklin M. Camp and Carrie C. Ringo Camp.
His wife of 54 years, Helen M. Smith Camp, whom he married Nov. 5, 1948 in Terre Haute,
died Feb. 7, 2002. Survivors include his daughter, Deb (Jim) Hood of Brazil; one son, Andy
(Peggy) Camp of Terre Haute; his companion, Jean Deal of Rockville; three brothers, Dick
Camp of Terre Haute, Bill (Etta) Camp of Fontanet, and Jim (Marsha) Camp of Riley; one
sister, Carolyn Butts of Terre Haute; one sister-in-law, Lila Camp of Alaska; four
grandchildren, Jason (Angie) Wittenmyer, Jamey ( Kris) Wittenmyer, Kyle Camp, and Katie
(Brandon) Waldrop; five great-grandchildren, Joel, Megan, Nathan, Olivia and Emily
Wittenmyer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother,
Bennie Camp.
He was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School in Terre Haute, and a U.S. Army veteran of
the Korean War. He attended the Rockville Christian Church. He was a 50-year member of
Parke Masonic Lodge 8, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Paul Taylor Post 1752, and
a charter member of Rockville Elk’s Lodge 2471. He was an avid golfer instrumental in the
building and construction and served several years on the board of directors of the Parke
County Golf Course. He also was a member of Forever Friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W.
Howard St., in Rockville, with the Rev. Rob Brown officiating. Entombment with military
honors by Parke County Veterans will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel of
Memories Mausoleum in North Terre Haute. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the
funeral home, with a Masonic memorial service conducted by Parke Lodge 8 at 7 p.m.
Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to the Parke-Vermillion Fraternal Order
of Police or Parke County Golf Course in his memory.

Juanita I. Summers
Juanita I. Summers, 99, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Royal
Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Terre Haute, on Nov. 27,
1910, to John W. Doughty and Elizabeth Romine Doughty. She attended Greenwood
Elementary and Sarah Scott schools, and graduated from Wiley High School. Her
husband, Newell M. Summers, died Dec. 18, 1979. She also was preceded in death by a
stepson, Eldon Summers; three sisters, Dolores Bensley, Cathryn Horton, and Mary
Girton; a brother, Wesley Doughty; and a nephew, George Doughty.
She is survived by stepgranddaughter, Brenda Marks of Florida; sister-in-law, Dora Baker
of Riley; nephews, Ralph Girton and Forrest Hedge; grandniece, Cindy Gregg, of Terre
Haute; as well as two great-grandnieces and a great-grandnephew and their families.
Juanita was a homemaker and especially enjoyed working in her lawn. She was a longtime
member of Eastside Church of Christ. She will be missed by her “caring friends and
neighbors”.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral
Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., with Brother Abe Miller officiating. Burial is in Roselawn
Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until time for the services Thursday. Memorial
donations honoring Juanita may be made to Eastside Church of Christ, 4025 College Ave.,
Terre Haute, IN, 47803; or to Camp Wabashi Christian Youth Camp, 3525 E. Harlan Drive,
Terre Haute, IN, 47802.

personnel at SouthernCare Hospice and Royal Oaks for making Juanita’s final months
more comfortable.

John R. Bord
TERRE HAUTE — MONTEZUMA — John R. Bord, 84, of Montezuma, died at 12:56 a.m. on
Friday in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born May 25, 1926, in Parke County to
Gene Bord and Edith Bord. He was retired from the Olin Plant at Covington, Ind. He served
in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Hilmon Fire Department., Montezuma No. 89 F&AM, also OES No.
537. He had attended the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Avola Doyne Bord in 2008.
He is survived by one son, Mark Bord and his wife, Mary of Berea, Ky.; two grandchildren,
Darin Bord of Clinton and Tara Bord of Berea; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane
and Mona Nickle of Montezuma, Tony and Gloria Walters of Montezuma and Art and
Martha Putman of N. Fort Myers, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Masonic services are 7:30 p.m. Monday followed by the IVFA services at Brown-Mack
Funeral Home in Montezuma. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Keith
McIntyre officiating in the funeral home. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral
home. Burial will be Roselawn Memorial Park in North Terre Haute. Military honors will be
performed by the Parke County Veterans organizations.

Randall McMahan
Randall McMahan, 54, of Terre Haute, passed away at 6:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010,
in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute, on Oct. 9, 1955, to Walter McMahan and
Anna May Risley McMahan. He was an electrician for International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers Local 725 and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 725.
His survivors include two sons, Nicholas McMahan (and wife Natalie) and Aaron McMahan
(and girlfriend Briana); one daughter, Lindsey Hutchens (and husband John); and one
grandson, Hayden Mattos, all of Terre Haute. Other survivors include one brother, Russell
McMahan (and wife Carol) of Indianapolis; several aunts and uncles; cousins; and nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents.
There will be a celebration of life from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at the I.B.E.W.,
5675 E. Hulman Drive, in Terre Haute. Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen.

Laura L. Brandt
Laura L. Brandt, 22, of Terre Haute, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010. She
was born in Phoenix, on June 7, 1988.
She is survived by her mother, Joyce Brandt; a sister, Michelle Campbell; a grandfather,
Thomas Stevens; and her aunts, Barbara Gregory and husband Robert, and Ellen Phillips.
Other survivors include her cousins, Tom and Melissa Hankins, Bobby Phillips, and Ernie
Wyrick; and several friends and extended family.
She was a bartender at Show Me’s Restaurant.
Memorial services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on
Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at 1 p.m. with Laura Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn
Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

Lois R. O’Neill
Lois R. O’Neill, 93, of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, in
Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Feb. 4, 1917, in Vigo
County, to Lewis W. Ripple and Cloe Sostice Ripple. She was retired from Quaker Maid.
She is survived by two daughters, Claudia Martin and husband David of Terre Haute, and
Vanessa O’Neill of Charleston, Ill.; two grandchildren, Adam Martin and Chris Farris; four
grandchildren; and a very special friend, Lola Drake. She was preceded in death by her
parents; first husband, Max Honeter; and her second husband, Walter O’Neill.
She was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church and Burnett Home Economics
Club.
A special appreciation to the nurses and aides of hall 3 and Lois’ angels at Royal Oaks
Health Care and Rehabilitation Center for their excellence and compassion in caring for
Lois.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 N. Lafayette
Ave. There will be a private burial at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is 11 a.m. until

Marjorie Cummins Rozgony
Marjorie Cummins Rozgony, 80, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at
Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus. Marjorie was born on Dec. 15, 1929, to Alice
Kinberger Cummins and William “Eddie” Cummins and was a lifelong resident of Terre
Haute.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Frank Joseph (Joe) Rozgony.
Survivors include her three daughters, Lisa Rozgony of Boca Raton, Fla., Susan Rozgony
Goings and her husband Larry of Terre Haute, and Lori Rozgony Pezzulo and her husband
Dan of Lake Worth, Fla.; three grandchildren, Ryan Goings and wife Jodi Smith Goings,
and Lara Goings Montfort and husband Philip, all of Terre Haute, and Isabella Pezzulo of
Lake Worth; four great-grandchildren, Carter Goings, Maci Goings, Frank Montfort, and
Chloe Montfort of Terre Haute.
Marjorie was a January 1948 graduate of Wiley High School. She worked for many years in
customer service at CBS. She also enjoyed volunteering at a local Food Pantry.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the residents and staff of Cobblestone
Crossing Health Campus (assisted living and health care) for their compassionate care and
friendship and for making her last years happy and fulfilling. The family suggests that, in
lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus assisted
living for activity development.

Muriel Dolores VanVactor
Muriel Dolores VanVactor, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away Aug. 17, 2010, at Terre Haute
Regional Hospital. Born May 7, 1918, in North Terre Haute, she was the daughter of
Charles E. Killion and Lena (Latta) Killion. Muriel had worked as a telegrapher and also a
night manager for Western Union. She also had worked at Eastern Motor Express.
She was a member of Grace Temple Church. Her hobbies included playing the piano and
singing for many area churches.
Survivors include her children, Muriel White and husband Dale of Indianapolis, Paul E.
Wells Sr. and wife Donna of Brazil, Charles F. VanVactor and wife Cathy, Joseph V.
VanVactor and wife Donna, William VanVactor and wife Janice, all of Terre Haute, and
Renee Liffick of Prairieton; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lolita
Bernhardt of Clayton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
parents; first husband, Charles James Wells; second husband, Russell C. VanVactor; son,
Charles James Wells Jr.; sister, Ruby Laverne Clements; and a brother, Charles E. Killion
Jr.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m., at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St.,
with Pastor David Fleetwood officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Beverly A. Johnson
TERRE HAUTE — Beverly A. Johnson, 76, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, April 25,
2010, in her residence. She was born on Oct. 31, 1933, in Kenneth Village, Minn., she was
the daughter of Gerald Ralph Chapin and Anna (Fredricks) Chapin. She married William
Johnson in December 1951, and he preceded her in death, in January 2007.
Beverly had worked as a nurse in Wisconsin and later in Indiana at Union Hospital and also
at Wallace Nursing Home. She was a member of the Union Christian Church. Her hobbies
included cooking, gardening, flowers and her cat.
Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Grayless and husband Mark of Terre Haute, and
Lauretta Price and fiancé Michael McManaway of West Terre Haute; a son, William G.
Johnson; grandchildren, Carrie Price, Andrea Grayless, Gabriel Johnson, Jamie Price,
Autumn Decorte, and Alison Grayless; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Boyce
of Beach Park, Ill.; a brother, Gerald Chapin and wife Marilyn of Tennessee; and several
nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also was preceded in death by her
parents; a sister, Dorothy Bishop; a brother-in-law, Theron Boyce; and a son -in-law, Gary
D. Price.
A celebration of her life will be at Union Christian Church Sunday at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mark
Grayless officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn
Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Union Christian Church.

Samuel J. Weihert
Samuel J. Weihert, 58, of Terre Haute, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at the Richard L.
Roudebush Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis. Mr. Weihert was born July 19,
1952, in Terre Haute, the son of Reuben and Patsy (Miller) Weihert.
Sam was a self-employed building contractor and a United States Air Force veteran. He
enjoyed golf and fishing. Mr. Weihert was a member of the Terre Haute Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Ronald Weihert. Survivors include
his mother; daughters, Kelly D. Crouse (Alvin), and Nikki (Moe) Schofield; son, Samuel J.
Weihert Jr., all of Terre Haute; brothers, Daniel Weihert of Terre Haute and George
Weihert of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon Monday at the Terre Haute Church of God, 2501 Thompson
Street, with the Rev. Dennis Sanders officating. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial
Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the church. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Simple Cremations and Burials of Clinton.

Mary Sue Tennis
TERRE HAUTE — Mary Sue Tennis, 93, of Terre Haute, died at Davis Gardens Health
Center on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010. Born in Hymera, on Oct. 31, 1917, she was the
daughter of George and Amanda (Wilson) Tennis. After having worked for many years,
she retired from General Telephone as a trainer and regional manager.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lowell Tennis, Wayne ‘Bub’ Tennis, Helen
Davis, and Ruby Sanderson; and a nephew, Jerry L. Jordan. She was lovingly known as
“Aunt Sudy” to the following: two nieces, Diane Cordell and Sylvia Marrs; grandnieces,
LeeAnn Lewis, Loren Stivers, Pamela Stephenson, Nadene Osborn, and Amanda Walker;
grandnephews, Spencer, Brian, and Aaron Cordell; and ‘nephew’, Dave Gordan and their
children.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85
E. Springhill Drive. Calling is from 2 p.m. until services. Private burial will be Monday in
Roselawn Memorial Park.

Agnes Nadine Tomlinson
A. Nadine Tomlinson, 89, of Terre Haute, passed away on Aug. 19, 2010, in her home. She
was born on Jan. 9, 1921, in Terre Haute, to Jesse Easton and Geneva Henry Easton. She
attended Gerstmeyer High School. Nadine married Curtis L. Tomlinson on Aug. 1, 1943.
They made several missionary trips overseas.
Nadine retired from Kroger in 1984. She was a past officer of the Terre Haute Christian
Business Women. Nadine and her husband were very active members of the First Church
of the Nazarene and past members of their Bell Choir.
Nadine is survived by five children, Curtis A. Tomlinson of Lampasa, Texas, Sharon
Downing and husband Ralph, Byron Tomlinson and wife Tina, Becky Fisher and husband
Tony, and Debbie Rudisel, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren from Lampasa, Angie and
Lance Taylor, Christy and Randall Smith, Lisa Bredison, and Curtis F. Tomlinson;
grandchildren from Terre Haute, Terri and David Fields, Ralph Downing III and LeeAnn,
Brian and Rachel Tomlinson, Shawn and Holly Stevens, CJ Stevens, Heather and Brad
Shelton, Donnie Heck Jr., Derrick and Becca Heck, Rachel and Jeremy Ash, and TJ and
Ashley Rudisel; and grandchildren from West Terre Haute, Scott and Michelle Fisher, and
Christina Fisher; 39 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother,
Lawrence Easton; and a sister, Irene VanHolson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Robert and Vern
Easton.
Visitation is today, Aug. 22, 2010, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N.
Clinton St., and also Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Church of
the Nazarene. Services will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Fleschner officiating at the
church. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.s

Florence Lucille Toney Brown
CLINTON — Florence Lucille Toney Brown, of Clinton, and formerly of Rockville, died at
the age of 91, at 5:11 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2010, in the Waters of Clinton. She was born on
May 8, 1919, in Terre Haute, the daughter of the Richard and Emma Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Wilma Diehl of Michigan and
Sylvia Guinn of Clinton; and two husbands, Harry Pete Toney and James R. Brown. She is
survived by one stepson, Norman Toney of Clinton; two stepdaughters, Carol Beason of
Cayuga and Lureda Payne of Terre Haute; and several stepgrandchildren, nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
Lucille was a 50-year member and Past President of Jerusalem Chapter of Eastern Star;
past president of sixth district, American Legion Auxiliary; past president of Unit 48 of
Rockville; and Past Chapeau of 8/40 Parke County 806. She was a member of the Clinton
Hospital Guild and a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton. She was retired from
Sears, 15 years.

Tanya L. Shannon
Tanya L. Shannon, 40, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at 12:15 a.m.
in Union Hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1970, in Alexandria, Va., to Larry D. Wright and
Marsha J. Harrison Wright.
Tanya was a registered nurse for 20 years and had been employed with the Kidney Center
- Frecenius. She was a Sunday school teacher at Hulman Street Wesleyan Church and
she was a team mom for the Wabash Valley Softball League.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Wright, who passed away July 25,
2010.
Tanya is survived by her husband, Ronald Shannon; three daughters, Jessika Smith and
her husband Shawn, Erika and Rebeka Shannon, all from Terre Haute; her father, Larry
Wright and his wife Beverly of Terre Haute; sister, Danielle Wright of Terre Haute;
stepsisters, Jessica Kennedy of Brazil and Toni Inhofer of Terre Haute; mother-in-law,
LaDonna Schonert and her husband Rick of West Terre Haute; brother-in-law, Andrew
Shannon and his significant other Michelle of Knightsville.; two sisters-in-law, Terissa
Ripberger and her husband Doug of Terre Haute and Amanda Williams of West Terre
Haute. Also surviving is one granddaughter, Madelynn Smith; and several nieces and
nephews.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at the Hulman Street Wesleyan
Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Greiner Funeral
Home, 2005 North 13th Street, in Terre Haute, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time
Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Dan Willis will be officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn
Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G.
Komen Race for the Cure Foundation.

Mary C. LeBrun Tilley
TERRE HAUTE — Mary C. LeBrun Tilley, 93, of Terre Haute, died Saturday, Aug. 21,
2010, in her home. She was born Dec. 26, 1916, in Decatur, Ind., to Oliver P. LeBrun and
Lena Blanche Miller LeBrun. She married Charles E. Tilley on June 10, 1938, and he
passed away Nov. 7, 1980.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Fred) Foxworthy, and Sue Fell; adopted daughter,
Mary Lou Clausing of Manhattan, Ill.; son, Ed (Nedra) Tilley; four grandchildren, Norm
(Connie) Fell, Tom (Jennifer) Foxworthy, Jim (Michelle) Foxworthy, and Stacy Tilley
Nguyen; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one stepgreat-great-
grandchild; one niece, Carole LeBrun Reynolds; five nephews, Vaughn and David Hall,
Rick LeBrun, Jesse LeBrun Jr., and Mark Mitchell.
Mary also was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers, and two
grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Roselawn
Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with
Pastor Earl McClelland officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Noah Adam Berry Jr.
Noah Adam Berry Jr., 76, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, in his
residence surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Tuckerman, Ark., to
Noah Adam Berry Sr. and Mary Anna Wingo Berry. He graduated from Tuckerman High
School in 1951. Noah was retired from AET. He also had worked at Hercules and CBS.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Bose Berry; four daughters, Debby (Rick)
Tarrh, Cindy (Ric) May, Teresa Berry, and Kelly (Don) Maffioli; eight grandchildren, Ric
(Mindi) Tarrh, Tyler and Spencer May, Joshua and Kayla McIntyre, Nathan, Jeremy, and
Madisson Maffioli; three great-grandchildren, Rikie, Nick, and Meghan Tarrh. Also one
brother, John (Betty) Berry; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Casey Patton
who served Noah and his family during his last three years of his battle with Alzheimer’s.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Paul Eugene Berry; and three
sisters, Nellie Mae Clark, Hettie Ellen Keller, and Bertie Ann Sims.
Noah loved his children and spending time with his grandkids whom he was very proud of.
He enjoyed working and would try any new adventure. Noah also loved the Lord and
served Him faithfully since June 14, 1970. He had a serving heart and served at
Foursquare Gospel Church and Cross Tabernacle.
Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home,
7500 N. Clinton St. The funeral will be Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Foursquare
Gospel Church with the Revs. Merrillyn Smith and Ric May officiating. Burial is in Roselawn
Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to Vista Care Hospice.
