I started working here in May, 2006.  I work in the maintenance department as the
housekeeper for all the buildings here at Roselawn. I also take care of the flowers
in the mausoleums. On occasion, I play hostess in the Remembrance Rooms. I
enjoy meeting new people and I can help families locate their loved ones in the
mausoleums. I enjoy my job. Everyone here is like family to me.
Bonnie Nees,
Housekeeping
I am a California native, in 1998 I retired from the U.S. Army and came to Indiana
working for a large construction company. I traveled around the country for
several years supervising projects and decided in the fall of 2001 to stop moving,
settle down, and chose to move to Terre Haute for a variety of reasons. In 2002 I
came to Roselawn Memorial Park as a Family Service Counselor and
subsequently as the Superintendent. I assist our General Manager with
administrative and Human Resource issues in addition to supervising the
maintenance of the park. I am a member of the American Legion and the
Disabled American Veterans. I attend Prairie Park Baptist church where I am
privileged to teach adult Sunday School and serve as Director of Music.

I have been very blessed by the people I work with. This is a place where our
families matter most.  We can’t be all things to all people, but we sure try. I have
learned much about the process of caring for our loved one’s final arrangements.
I have come to the conclusion that no matter what you choose in making those
plans, doing it with your loved ones is one of the greatest gifts of love you can
share with them. Taking those decisions from their shoulders at one of the worst
times in their lives demonstrates and teaches love for one another.

Not much would please me more than to work here until I can work no more. If you
need help with any issue or have questions please contact me.
